    About

    Brandy has always been my biggest crochet fan. She always encourages and pushes me to do more and after seeing a few of my hats for other people, she asked me one day if I could make her a hat that looks like her dog Chief. I wasn't sure if I'd be successful, Chief is a big white Pitbull, with beady eyes, a big black nose and a HUGE smile, but I gave it a whirl. Brandy loves the hat; it could never replace Chief of course, but it was fun to figure out all of the pieces and put it together.

    Other : Rubber bands to hold braids until they were even.

    Measurements

    Notes: Women's size large earflapbeanie, made in the round starting with a magic circle. Braids were added using ten strands (approximately 1 yd each cut in half) of each color of yarn. I added the pink tongue because of the picture I was going off of and pink also gave the hat a more feminine look in the braids. After seeing the requested green buttons on the hat, I crocheted a chain and sewed the chain around the eyes to give them a beady-eyed look.
