    I had a request for this using cotton yarn, so I used Knitpicks Shine Sport in colors Hyacinth and White and Brett Cotton on Denim which I had left over from another project, in color Light Blue/White. When knitted up in cotton, this is a nice summer top for a baby girl. I made size Large, but the yarn was somewhat light weight so I used small needles and this will fit a 6 to 12 month old. This is a terrific pattern and the designer provides guidelines for differing gauges, so you can use just about any weight yarn, except possibly bulky or lace weight. I have made it using sport, DK and worsted with success. I really like this pattern and appreciate the designer's use of bold font, and boxes around some of the directions which really helps people like myself with failing eyesight to keep track of what we're doing.
