    It had been a while since I crocheted something and I needed a quick handmade gift so I decided to kill two birds with one stone! I’ve made these roses before (although I didn’t photograph them for some reason…) but I’d completely forgotten that they’re a bit, well, boring if you’re the sort of person who likes to stick smiley faces on everything. Which I am. So I did a couple as per the pattern and then free-styled the rest - don’t tell anyone!
