    About

    I made this to match a little cardigan. The pattern calls for using aran weight yarn. I used sport weight (Louet Gems Sport in color Heron, 100% merino) and smaller needles, sizes 2 and 3, so the hat turned out smaller. This is good yarn for baby items - it is machine washable and dryable and does not pill at all.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 3.25mm (US 3) 80cm
    • Circular 2.75mm (US 2) 80cm

    Measurements

    3 to 6 months.

    Notes: Depth of hat is 5 3/4 inches.
    Brim circumference is 12 inches.
    Ties are 13 inches long.
