      Hi - sorry to bother you, but I am a beginner knitter with a question about this pattern and I can't seem to find the answer anywhere online. In the pattern it tells you to make an increase in the first stitch. When I looked up videos of how to do this, it shows how to increase the stitch then place the new stitch back on the left needle. So when this pattern has a line like this, for example:
      row 6 inc in first st, P1, K1. 4 sts.
      Should I assume that after making an increase in the first stitch, I then P1, K1 for the first two stitches. The pattern isn't really clear on this and I'm sure there's something I'm missing.

      How easy is this to make? My daughter is just learning and needs a first time pattern. I don't knit so I need all the help I can get.

        Hi, very easy. It’s moss stich with increase. I think any beginner can do that.
