    About

Who can resist knitting for girlies? I hijack friends children and knit for them. This is one of 4 for Scarlett she is my step great niece. I admit to OCD with matching the striping of the yarn. Drive myself crazy

So very, very pretty. What beautiful colours! You are so dedicated, matching all the stripes. I love this kind of wool but I am like you I like everything to match so I don't use it as I wouldn't have the patience to match it.

I spend many a happy hour matching stripes! Not so much sewing a trillion ends in. I am very pleased with neck band especially. I just think it is meant to give a fair isle effect and for me I wouldn't knit a fair isle jumper odd so end of!

Some do and some don't! I made my grandson some beautiful and trendy baby knits but he rarely wore them. To be fair though he doesn't wear knits at all.

@Vix: I have to agree with you there, I have made some cardigans and not even had a thank you or seen a photo on baby. The grandmas ask you to knit but the mums don't say anything. My friend has a table at the local hospital for charity every now and then, she said they always ask what have I donated and it sells straight away. So my sample designs and stash busting projects go there most of the time now. Sorry long reply have a happy knitting day.

@Mary E: love a long reply and I love your work. I am not surprised it sells quickly. If we made old fashioned knits fair enough but we don't!
