    About

I always think that you learn something new with every item that you make. In this case, it was not to re-organise my Himalayan mountain of wool mid-project. I got to the bit of the pattern marked ‘tail’ and realised that I had no idea where the grey wool was. Hence, Brenda has no tail. Oh well, if anyone asks, she can just tell them that it’s tucked inside her swimming costume!

Your Hippo looks so cool in her swimmers, and sun glasses. I have done quite a few of Alan Dart's patterns and love them especially Old Father Time.

Thanks, Stefi - the sunglasses were so much fun to make! It's always nice to raid the pink wool too! :-D

I know the feeling, Christine - there just aren't enough hours in the day! As Alan Dart patterns go, it wasn't too scary - the sunglasses were a lot of fun to make! :-D
