    About

I needed to make a baby blanket for a friends baby due in Oklahoma in October. I used a warmer yarn and chose another of Hooked on Sunshine's patterns.
This pattern is very dense - I had to go up an extra hook size. I cut and rejoined Baby Cakes yarn for colour order on the rows.
I bought an extra cake for colour changes, but still had to finish with a half section, then a border of v stitch and shells

Beautiful blanket Sandra, the colours and the pattern are lovely, These Babycakes are great for making blankets, I love watching the colours emerge 😊

Thanks Alison - I love them too, but find I have to finish a colour at the end of a row and start a new colour for the next one. I end up with lots of little balls of colour left to finish later rows!

So very pretty. I am so pleased there is someone obsessive as me when using colour cakes 🤭
