Quite pleased with how this has turned out bit, if I make it again, I would alter the way the top of the limbs are knitted and sewn on. I think it would look much better with the arms and legs jointed but this would mean changing the pattern for the top of the limbs slightly.
Hi Michelle, the wool was Sirdar Gemini brushed Dk. I had had it for years and I suspect it’s not made any more. I don't think it would be hard to find a substitute though.
No, not long at all. I only knit in the evenings and it took maybe a couple of weeks to complete. If I made another one I would change the way the arms and legs are attached though. it would look much nicer with jointed limbs.
