    This pattern is designed by NJ Sharon and modified by Debi Adams.
    I thought this prayer shawl would be perfect as a long distance hug for a dear friend who lost her husband after a long battle with cancer.

    Notes: After blocking the shawl was much larger than anticipated but will be cosy for the recipient.
    I did use the Michon's Butterfly Shawl edging as an addition to the pattern.

      What a pretty shawl & lovely of u to knit it for your friend I'm sure it made her day & she appreciated it. Sorry for her loss, I lost my mum a few years ago after her battle with cancer.

        Thank you for your kind words. He was like a father to me and being I'm so far away from them now it's nice to know I can send a hug and she knows I'm thinking of her. Hugs to you too, it's not easy to lose a parent.
