    About

I'm madly in love with Madelintosh Tosh Sock and I always look for lovely patterns. This one looked intriguing. The picture that goes with the pattern wasn't overly pretty so I thought if I used a fingering instead of lace weight it might look good. The only trouble I had was that the lace repeat is 30 stitches and I always seemed to be off count - my bad. Otherwise, this is a very easy and rewarding knit.

There are pattern corrections to be noted:
    Rows 45 - 100 repeat should be 31-44, not 29-42.
    Rows 109-, 115- & 121- repeats should be 103-108.
Rows 127- repeats should be 103-106.

    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6)

Notes: This shawl forms a neck that drapes elegantly over the shoulders and falls to my waist. It's my favourite shawl to wear. I knit loosely so you might want to adjust needle size accordingly. I used a 6 with fingering weight and it's perfect.
