    About

    **11.05.2016**
Kicking off with a tubular cast on. So far yarn seems to be giving a nice stitch definition.

Trying out my new 20cm Addi Circs. These things are *teeny* I've got small hands but these teeny needles make me feel all sausage fingered !

I'm keeping a thin tapestry needle to hand as very handy for rescuing any stitches that drop.

    **16.06.2016**
Second Sock Syndrome has struck. Cast on for the second sock over two weeks ago, but not got past the ribbing.

    **09.07.2016**
Gritted my teeth and finished off the second sock. Once the heel is turned on these the foot really does fly by quite quickly, but getting there can be slow going.

I've got little feet so only needed to work 3 repeats of the chart after gusset shaping (48 rows). I ended up with just a couple of grams or so to spare from each ball/sock. It may be worth having extra yarn on hand (foot ?) if you are knitting for a more average size foot. Those cable twists really do eat up the yarn.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 2.00mm (US 0) 30cm
Other : Pony tapestry needle as makeshift cable needle for any stray cable sts dropped whilst cabling without a cable needle.

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

Notes: Worked size "C" - which is the medium size. I have large calves and wide feet and found this to be a generous fit, especially around the instep.
