    Saw the pattern on fb and loved it but it was very expensive to knit but I was won over and I don't regret it, it's beautiful

    • Crochet Hook 4.50mm (US 7)
    • Circular 5.00mm (US 8) 60cm
    • Double Point 4.00mm (US 6) 10cm
    • Circular 5.00mm (US 8) 100cm
    • Circular 6.00mm (US 10) 100cm
    • Single Point 6.00mm (US 10) 30cm
    • Single Point 5.00mm (US 8) 30cm

    Accessories

    • Toggles
    • Stitch Markers
    • Cable Needle
    Other : Stitch markers are needed for the main body marking, cable needle for obvious reasons and longish toggles for the fasteners

    Measurements

    Notes: I knitted size large and pulled it all down as I wasn't happy with the fit and then knitted 1x which is perfect fit for me

      have you got to use circular needles??? never tried them...

        you would need very very long needles for the yolk if you didn't use circular needles. You can use circular needles exactly the same as ordinary ones just turn your work as normal at the end of each row, make sure you get long enough ones for the work though as they come in different sizes, good luck

      I'm very tempted to make this gorgeous coat too. How long did it take you? I the pattern easy to follow?

        Hi Karen, It took me about 2 weeks. The pattern is fairly easy to follow but I wouldn't say it is for a beginner. If you have done cable knitting before I think you would find it easy. I also didn't increase the stitches at the bottom of the sleeve, the wrist end, as it made it too bulky for me so I left it straight, I was much happier with it that way but that was just my choice
