    About

I have never made a cabled hat before, and I have also never used dpns. So, I thought I would try this out, as I liked the pattern. Also, me being me, I wanted to give myself more of a challenge; by making a cabled hat, rather than a simpler pattern. I had great fun making this, and I really enjoyed using dpns to knit in the round. It was also a surprisingly quick knit. I am very pleased with the outcome, as it's my first hat, and shall definitely knit it again. Best of all, I now have a hat for winter, as it's very cosy and snug.
