I saw the pattern while cruising the Love Crochet blog after following a link from an email. I thought that they were so cute that I had to make them. When I showed Caitlyn's Mum the pattern it was definitely on and off I went! I made three pairs in the end, two in camel and one in raspberry.
I found these surprisingly easy and only made one change. Instead of the bow being just decorative I extended the length to 84 stitches and threaded it through the row above the ankle shaping to make a tie that can be used to keep the bootie on.

It's deceptively simple. The sole is started using a chain which you then work on both sides to take it around, then a round at a time following the stitch instructions which gives you the shape.
The leg is worked separately flat with a little easy shaping. The top of the foot is also worked flat with a little shaping.
The assembly is where the magic happens, using the fluffy yarn to join all the pieces together.
