It started when I began knitting teddies (see my first project). My sister in law said to me I have a ball of wool here that someone gave to me not sure what type of yarn it is! I said I will have a look. I collected it and started knitting I knew it would be very different to my first project as the wool seemed much thicker as I began to knit it up. I have had to make a few alterations along the way but so far I am intrigued with my new bear. I will add in any changes I have made once complete. The reason I have chosen intermediate for this is because this wool is not for the faint hearted. Once you knit you cannot see what you have done so don't drop any stitches and concentrate. I added a so far image to help you see the differences between the the bears. I followed the pattern completely the only changes I made in the end were the needles for the contrast wool and I put contrast into the ears for the last 6 rows.
