    About

Before May approached, we thought of getting ourselves at least a set of Koinobori even when we haven't had any children of our own yet. For fun’s sake however, he suggested that we make our own Koinobori, which to a knitting addict such as myself, his suggestion simply translated to “Yay, another knitting project!” :D

    Fun Fact :

こどもの日 (Kodomo No Hi) - Children’s day (although it was traditionally intended as a day to celebrate the boys only) is one of the many culturally infused festivals held during Japan’s Golden Week. This particular day is a really fun one (gorging loads of delicious mochi included) involving carp streamers called こいのぼり (Koinobori) “swimming in the wind” across rooftops.
