    About

Michelle's new grandson was born in 2016, the year of the monkey. She had seen some other toys of mine and asked if I could knit her this. She wanted the outfit to be lemon and grey to fit in with the colours of the nursery.

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stuffing
Other : Odd balls of black and red for the eyes and the boat bib.

    Measurements

One size only: Standing teddy measures approximately 38cm (15in)

Notes: Worked out as pattern with no changes.

Hi Mary-Katherine. Thank you for your lovely comment. You will find the link to the pattern next to the little picture of the monkey in the project details. It is from the Knitables website. There are lots of teddies and outfits to choose from and the patterns are reasonably priced and easy to follow. Hope this helps.

Hi Carole. I'm looking for the doggie scarf pattern you knit for Alice. Can't find it anywhere. Got the yarn all ready to go and no pattern....

Hi. If you type Sirdar and the number of the pattern into the search bar on this website you will find the pattern. I think it is £2.95. Let me know if you still cannot find it and I will send you the exact URL.

I am glad you found it. I think there is a similar one too for a cat. If I make another one I will do the scarf in the round or do it on 2 needles in the round (a technique shown to me by a lady at our Knit and Natter group). I would also make the scarf longer. Happy knitting!

The sailboat dungarees and jumper are also from Knitables.
