    About

I needed something to do while travelling with the Southend Choirs in Canada.
This design intrigued me because it is knitted in one piece from the bottom up. I got the sleeves and he first inch or two of the body done on the plane. The rest was completed while travelling between venues and cities on the coach driven by the wonderful Wendy. The hat used every scrap of the leftovers and I have yet to choose buttons.
The challenge was finding a wool shop so that I had something to do on the return flight. I found sock wool.

    Pattern

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 4.00mm (US 6)
    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6)
    Other : Cable needle

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Holder
    • Cable Needle
    • Buttons
Other : I always knit with a round needle, it makes the project more portable and causes less bother to my neighbours on planes, trains and buses. I used the hanging ribbons from my new dresses for flexible stitch holders on the sleeves.
