    About

I knitted this cardigan from a free pattern using a 400g wool cake in DK Rainbow wool in orange bought from Aldi! This is a lovely straight forward pattern ideal for new knitters. I embroidered the wool star flowers partially for practice and also bring the colours together. I knitted each section depending on which shade of orange was coming off the ball (or cake) as I wanted some symmetry on the front panels, I must be a bit OCD : )

Love this, having seen the yarn on sale in Aldi and bypassed it, I will now definitely buy some!

Thanks Alison, my original plan for embroidery was a bit ambitious but these simple flowers seem to work, sometimes less is best : )
