Christmas Tie

I made this for Ken Bassett - teacher to special needs students.

    About

    Ken brings the Christmas spirit to his students. Returning from Fall Break he begins a parade of Christmas ties, Inspired by him- I wanted to bring the motifs of the holiday into one grand "ugly sweater" tie. Adding lights,bells,pom pom, to the mix-brought the extra joy to the project.

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    Other : I used too many colors to list them all. Besides knitting with the yarns- I embroidered over the elves with more yarn bits to give dimension. Santa's nose and eyeglasses are embroidered details.

    Measurements

    Notes: The tie is 60 inches long and tapers from 4 inches to 2 inches.
