    About

These delightful little fairy trees are one of my absolute favorite makes and I look forward to them all year long! Every Christmas I sprinkle them throughout my home and tuck them into gifts for family and friends. They make great stocking stuffers. I don’t know a single person who doesn’t light up with pure glee when they pull one out and marvel at it in the palm of their hand! They’re quick to knit and wonderful for using little oddments of yarn. They typically require approximately 7 grams per tree, give or take. I make all of mine with either 100% Wool or Baby Alpaca or a blend of Wool, Cashmere and Silk. I personally prefer to use a Worsted weight Wool on the tiny needles, as this gives a nice, firm tree with a beautiful stitch definition and allows the cable work to pop perfectly!

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 2.75mm (US 2)

    Accessories

    • Stitch Holder
    • Cable Needle
Other : Wine Cork to set the finished tree on top. It just sits there.... No gluing!

    Measurements

Notes: Each lovely little Fairy tree ends up being approximately 4 1/2 inches (10-13 cm) in height once you’ve placed it atop a wine cork. When you purchase this pattern you will find there are actually several patterns for little trees included. Over the years I’ve made them all and found I love this one the best. Happy knitting!
