My son’s partner bought me 2 balls of wool with the proviso that I actually make something for myself for once. I needed 3 balls for the project so used the label details to order an extra ball. Observant people will notice that the right 1/3 of the shawl is slightly different but actually the extra ball completed the left 1/3! This shows the importance of matching dye lots. All wool was the same shade according to labels. Also something weird happened causing the point fringing to be a lot longer. I considered undoing & redoing the whole thing but decided I liked its quirky uniqueness.
