    These mittens are wonderfully thick and warm with a gorgeous chunky classic cable running up the top of the hand. The pattern is beautifully written and so easy to follow you have a pair of Mittens knit up practically before you know it! You can find the pattern on a wonderful Etsy Shop called By the River Knits, which is based in Cambridge, Canada.

    • Stitch Holder
    Other : When cabling I always find it helpful to use stitch markers placed to section off the cable portion (unless it’s done by placing entire cable section on one dpn by itself).

    Measurements

    Notes: Women’ Medium: 7” top of mitten to wrist, 3.5” wide at palm.
    I made no changes to the pattern and found it true to gauge and expected finished size.
