    About

My daughter had been eyeing a lovely cabled knitted cushion in a local shop, but as it was cream coloured it wasn't practical to have with her grey sofa and two dogs. So I used Meg Roke's Simple Stitch Pillow pattern, with a slight adaptation to try my first ever attempt at a cable on the reverse side (using a Youtube tutorial) . And used a marbled grey chunky yarn (used doubled). This is an excellent piece for anyone who is new to knitting, and wants to try different stitch types: it includes Stocking Stitch, Garter Stitch, Double Rib and mine also included 4-row Cable.
