    About

Having knitted many years ago when I was younger I didn't pick up my needles for a long time. I recently started again and now find knitting to be addictive and a good way to unwind at the end of a day.
We bought a small caravan last year and I want some knitted cushions to go in it so I designed this cushion cover from a picture of my caravan.
I used King Cole Merino Blend DK wool, which is lovely & soft to handle, with Kingfisher as the background colour. It now sits proudly in the caravan along with the Compass Rose Cushion I also designed to reflect my love of travelling.
Substitute the Oatmeal with White to make it cheaper.

Hi Caroline. I have just purchased a caravan so was super excited to find your knitting pattern! I am going to fill it with cushions! I purchased all the wool you recommended but can't help but notice that the glacier wool seems to be very similar to the kingfisher wool, it's just a bit more of a green colour than kingfisher. I just wanted to check this is correct and there hadn't been a typo in the pattern please. Many thanks, Vicky

Hi Vicky The Glacier wool does look a greeny colour on the Web site but it is the darker grey in the photo of my caravan cushion. It definitely wasn't green in real life when i purchased it! If it isn't a dark grey when you receive it please let me know. Thank you very much for purchasing my pattern. Caroline

This is an Eriba caravan. I have one just like it. I'll have to make one of these. It's great and beautifully made.

Thanks Alison. We bought an Eriba caravan this summer and I just had to design a cushion cover with the image on it.
