    About

The pattern is so easy you can close your eyes while knitting. Or you can knit it while watching TV or having a conversation. Put up your feet and relax. The yarn is so soft that just holding this project in my lap is satisfying. Yay for merino sheep. Soft, squishy, cushiony and cuddly. Close your eyes.

Spit splice works well with this yarn. With 20 balls you don't want a bunch of ends to weave, especially not on a reversible blanket.
P.S. I made the braided rug, too.

I didn't use a pattern. CO 138. Garter for 14 rows, inc. up to 152 before you get to the basket weave. Large vertical bars are k1, p1 ribbing 8 sts. wide by 14 rows. Small vertical bars are also k1, p1 ribbing 6 sts. wide by 10 rows. The rest is all garter in between. The garter squishes things up vertically and the ribbing squished things up horizontally - this enhances the already squishy quality of this yarn. Dec. back down to 138 in first few rows of bottom garter border.
