Another wow, like my pal Vix I am struggling and am having a break from the final part. Have to say not sure I would repeat this project although maybe another colour combination would be good. Going to check out some of your recommendations

@Vix: Ah but you see I have a large bag of various shades of pink yarns that have been begging for a project for ages. Have always thought of doing the Carousel blanket again but in pink but the Cosmic CAL could work too if I could bring myself to go through it all again!!!!!!

@Sarah T: you may just sail through it second time round! I am not so fond of pink but it does enhance the colours I like alot so I find myself using it. If you use your pink stash, oh dear you will have to buy something to replace it

@Sarah T: How are u doing with Cosmic? I have come to a halt on the first row of part 9. I find it very tedious to do so I distracted myself by making dinosaurs, as you do! I am fancying a Jen Tyler next. What are u going to do?

@Vix: Do you know I have just put it away at the moment no chance starting it when it was too hot so having a break and hopefully come back to it refreshed. Have got a couple of Scheepjes yarncakes and have started a virus blanket which I am going to save now and take on hols and I started another virus blanket Lion Brand Tutti Frutti yarn which is the yarn they used in the online tutorial first couple of attempts not good but it is flowing now. Nice simple and not too much angst or thought. Who doesn't distract themselves with dinosaurs! Going to check out Jen Tyler too :)

@Sarah T: Do check her out, her designs are a little different and pretty amazing. I am doing a virus shawl in Sirdar spirit. How I love a yarncake. I don't know why the virus is so pleasing to look at it just is. Once I get into the rhythm of it very relaxing, unlike our friend Cosmic. We are off house hunting so have a long drive. I am also taking a rainbow ripple. Have fun in the sun on your hols.

@Sarah T: I have to confess to no restraint. Bought Karoo MAL, Amanzi and Pondoland. Her prices are a bargain I think. Just 2.40dollars even for all parts of Karoo. I am virusing on route!

@Debra K: I didn't realise that.Your work is stunning. I am not so keen on making squares I prefer the look of one big blanket. You will love Jen Tyler's work.

@Vix: so do I, but when the temps are over 90 degrees, I look for smaller projects. I’m checking out Jen Tyler right now. Have you seen Hooked on Sunshine, also a fav
