Crochet Bing from cBeebies

    We all love Bing in our house and my son really wanted one because I had made him Hoppity. As I couldn't actually knit at this point I chose to crochet one and make it up as I went. It turned out reasonably well, I even managed to crochet the pants, which my son likes to call "dangaroos" (rhymes with kangaroos). It also ended up being massive because of the yarn I chose to use.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 6.00mm (US 10)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stuffing
    Other : I used felt to make the mouth and although I should have used a 10mm hook, I used a 6mm so it didn't end up being too big.

    Measurements

    Notes: Overall, Bing ended up being approximately 94 cm (3ft) tall and my son does struggle a bit to carry him. But he does love using him as a cushion!
