    About

I wanted to start something new so chose a simple pattern with challenges.

Cabling is one thing but with the weave section the pattern is made by different stitching on the wrong side too.
Easy enough to work on while watching tennis at the same time.
It looks pale in the photo. It is a pretty mint green. The acrylic is cheap and cheerful but the pattern makes up well so far. I can imagine this made up in a quality yarn. What a treasure that would be. Maybe next time.

A week in and it is 12 inches long and I am nearly finished the first 100g ball. Maybe I will need only 2? Pleased with my efforts.
Getting close to the end now. It has taken me 2-3 weeks. Pretty cable. Good size too.

Lovely. Am sure recipient will be delighted. So pretty to snuggle a baby in.
