    About

I saw this pattern a few weeks ago when I was freezing cold and thought this would be a good way to keep warm. The guidance for the Debbie Bliss Paloma yarn said 5 skeins were needed but I've only needed 4 which just means I can order some more to make a second!

This is a 6hour knit, super easy and super soft. It needs quite severe blocking which I always find a challenge but the end results are worth it. I love the way that the lace pattern makes it look really intricate whilst being easy to knit whilst watching game of thrones!

Soft, snuggly and fast results! However, this only blocks out to 162 x 74 cm not 220 x 75 cm as te pattern suggests. I think if you follow thr optional instructions you will get more stretch and closer to the pattern measurements....

    Pattern

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 8.00mm (US 11) 100cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers

    Measurements

    162 cm x 74cm

Notes: Blocked out shorter than the pattern suggested. Still ok as a scarf but not quite the wrap I was looking for. I think if you follow the optional instructions you might get a bigger blocked scarf
