    About

I like Drops Design pattern Diamond Delight, but there were no children's sizes, so I had to improvise and this is my own pattern - top down seamless. Couldn't do all the rows of diamonds because I ran out of blue. Did short rows in the back to provide shaping. The neckline got a little too wide, so I decided this was a boat neck pullover. There is plenty of room for the child to wear a turtleneck or collar shirt underneath. Made a folded over neckband for the first time. The yarn is Knitpicks Swish DK in white and Twilight. The Twilight is sort of like a soft denim, so this pullover should look good with jeans. Now, when my kids were little, would I have ever given them a white sweater? NO.

LOL. Your comment about giving white sweaters made me laugh.

Hah. My granddaughter, who is now a senior in High School and a delight, should still never wear white clothing. All her clothing needs to be the color of food.
