Diamonds-In-The-Rough Afghan

I made this for I knitted and donated the Afghan for a door prize for our Church's Christmas Craft and Bake Sale. By the time it was finished my daughters had fallen in love with it and requested that I knit them one. To be honest I'd like one for myself!!

    About

The picture doesn't do justice to this cabled throw knitted with Chunky Yarn I purchased from Loveknitting. It's "just the ticket" for our cold Canadian Winters, looks and feels so luxurious, and is super cozy to snuggle under. The throw features large double-seed-stitch-filled cables nestled in reverse stockinette stitch and a garter stitch border.

    Pattern

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 10.00mm (US 15) 100cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    • Tapestry Needle
Other : Attention to detail is highly recommended as one complete pattern is 64 rows to complete, One stitch out and you're scuppered - I found myself backtracking stitches many times, however, it was worth it - its so beautiful!!

    Measurements

Notes: I knit two pattern repeats (1-128 rows); I felt it was adequately long enough (with 2 repeats instead of 3) and its weight was heavy enough.
