    About

    The pattern is bottom up. But I made it top down with a folded over neck band. And the cuffs are long enough to fold over which matches the cushiony neck band. I ended up liking the way the white bits in the fair isle twinkled like stars. I used to do a lot of quilting, and this reminded me of Amish "sparkle" quilts. The Rico yarn is soft and has a bit of a halo. It might make fuzz balls eventually, but I will probably never know. It turned out to be a very warm sweater, especially the cushiony upper third.
