I got this free pattern chart off That Girl Who Crochets facebook page and wanted to give it a try. My mom has been asking me to make her a doily -- so I figured this qualified, but I'll probably make it into a tablecloth.
This is actually a practice with lion brand 24/7 cotton and a 3.5mm hook. For a tablecloth, this could be used but I think fashion thread or size 10 thread would be better.
And ultimately I would like to make an Afghan out of paintbox simply chunky yarn. I love working with that yarn. So one pattern will probably make several things.
