I made this for my grand daughters Hannah and Sarah's dolls

    When we were holidaying with Hannah and Sarah in Hong Kong over Easter, Hannah told me she would really love some clothes for their dolls, and... she really, really, really would like a 'Baby Alive Doll' that she saw when holidaying with us in N.Z. last Christmas. So I have secretly bought one of these gorgeous dolls each and plan to make a little wardrobe of clothes for them before their birthdays at the end of the year! In the meantime I want to post over some clothes for the little dolls they already have. I have tried them on the new dolls so I only hope this will also fit one of their existing dolls. It's been fun and a great way to make use of some of the left over yarn I have stacked up! This yarn was left over from their Rainbow cardigans. I chose this pattern first, as one thing Hannah would love is some pants for her dolls and this includes a good pattern for underpants.

      The pattern you have used was what my mother-in-law made for my daughter 26 years ago. My 2 grandaughters now have the dress, hat and pants. They look a little bit tired now. May make them some more now I have found your pattern. 🌈

      I made Freya lots of baby dolls clothes when she was young. She absolutely loved them. Sadly at almost 14 those days are long gone. I'm sure Hannah and Sarah will love them as well as their pressies later in the year. x
      PS: Freya's dolls always had to have knickers :-)

      Denise to do special things is one of the pleasures of being a Grandparent. I said to my Leah it's what Nan's are for when I get her little surprised. Oh bless her wanting pants for her doll 😀. Won't it be wonderful when the girls get their dolls.
