    My great nephew is 2 years old and loves dinosaurs. I was looking on pinterest, ravelry and etsy for a simple hat pattern.
    Found about three of them. The main pattern was purchased on etsy and had 2 freebies that I incorporated. The project is based on dragons, dinosaur and a fish....hence the project name.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6) 30cm
    • Crochet Hook 3.25mm (US 3)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    Other : Had to youtube short rows and double needles bind-off, had never done them before, still in the early phase of knitting.

    Measurements

    Notes: I made a child size opening based on other patterns for his age. I want to give it my nephew in person and won't have that opportunity till the new baby comes. I think it will be too big but hope he likes it for a toy and is not afraid of it.
