    About

My very first piece of knitting for Ella herself, not 'my daughter's baby.' The pattern is well described and fairly straightforward, the only difficulty being picking up the stitches around the neck.

This looks so gorgeous on your dear little model! It’s always really good to see how garments actually fit. Love the coloured buttons too.

Hi, can you help, I’m a beginner so this is probably a dumb question but do I need all three sets of needles or just one? Thank in advance Alison

how did you sew together the seams so neatly am finding it hard to sew two cast off edges together without a hard ridge

The sleeve seams look really neat because they are not sewn in, but stitches are picked up around the armholes and neck. Taking care with blocking and pressing make all the difference for ordinary seams.
