        I did make this a couple of years ago, but I seem to recall not knitting the first stitch, slip it pearlwise

        Do you have a pattern for knitting flat rather than in the round

        @Ruth S: Sorry, no. My Christmas Elf pattern is only available in a knit in the round version. All of my later patterns are knit in the round. Only my earlier patterns were flat/seamed versions.
