The first bolero I made for Hannah from this pattern was too small, but luckily fitted her little sister perfectly! So while I was visiting her family in Hong Kong last month Hannah and I spent sometime looking at yarns on love knitting and she chose this very pretty multicoloured 5 ply cotton which was fun to knit. I love this cleverly designed pattern, it is great to knit and looks so nice on, so I am sure this will not be the last one!

Notes: I knitted the 8 year size, as Size 6 was too small for Hannah who will be 6 in a few months. I also increased the needle size to 3.25 to get closer to the correct gauge.

  This little cardigan is just way to cute. The yarn is most beautiful, I will be purchasing pattern and yarn very soon. I have babies to knit for that are arriving soon. Very inspiring your knitting.

  Denise, I just love this & so gorgeous that your little grandie Hannah picked out this yarn herself. Those gals know what they want from day dot! You make me feel guilty as I started same pattern weeks ago, but veered off to knit 3 other projects, so I must get back onto this.
  Seeing that amazing yarn makes me want to order the same, but having just received a squishy parcel from LK today I must resist for a while.
