    About

Loved this pattern since first seeing it and originally started it in WYS Wensleydale Gems but it was totally the wrong yarn for the pattern. Decided to make it in a different yarn and I am so pleased with the end result. Very enjoyable project, not too difficult although there is a lot going on with cabling, moving the cables and waist and armhole shaping too! Just have to concentrate - no TV watching whilst knitting this one. The pattern is very well written with a colour coded chart for the cabling which makes it really easy to follow. Love this jumper so much. My first Linda Marveng project but definitely not the last, her designs are so lovely.

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
Rowan Pure Wool Superwash DK - Aqua 9.0 balls

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6) 35cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Cable Needle

    Measurements

    M

Notes: My row gauge was slightly off but I knew the body length would be OK and I would have to shorten the sleeve length anyway so knitted to the pattern but added a few rows more to the armhole shaping and sleeve cap. I blocked each individual piece before sewing up. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable to wear.

I've really appreciated the feedback on knitting this sweater- need a challenge to get me through winter. I think I'm convinced.

Thank you Alison. I really enjoyed knitting this one. The end result looks much more difficult than it actually was. Love the yarn too.
