    About

    I have always loved the work of Artist Frida Kahlo and have wanted to design a project using Mexican Folk art and in particular embroidered textiles as the design inspiration for a long time.
    When I designed this project I wanted to create a blanket with a 3D effect and so found various ways of making the crochet flowers stand out from the background.
    The Frida's Flowers Crochet Along Project is available as 8 free download patterns via the Stylecraft web site and the yarn used is Classique Cotton.
