Hello, can someone please explain rounds 17 and 18 to me please? It says work in established pattern on needles 2 and 4. I don’t understand which rows I am to follow. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Hello Tracey, you continue with the pattern as before on needles 2 & 4 so that is rows 5 - 8 as written in the pattern, as those rows form the cable pattern for that panel
Row 17 on 1 & 3 would be 5 on 2 & 4,
row 18 = row 6 on 2 & 4
Row 19 = row 7 on 2 & 4
Row 20 = row 8 on 2 & 4 then back to row 5 for one more repeat before starting the decrease rows.
I hope that makes it clearer for you. Hazel
I was wondering if you could help. I'm attempting to knit this at the moment but am a little stuck. I'm a Novice is and don't understand how to PSSO the three loops in round 3 of the head. I wonder if you could help. Jenny x
Hi Jenny, at the begging of the row you slipped a stitch knit wise to the right needle, next you K1, YO, K1 making 3 stitches, you now pass the slipped stitch over the three stitches you just made by taking that stitch off the right needle over the top leaving three stitches on the needle.
