Us both being geeks, I had promised my husband an appropriate fairisle design, but we couldnt decide on the overall design. Then one day at work, a newcomer approached my husband saying "I hear you're the Dude?" As soon as he gleefully told me this, the Geek Dude was born. Based on the traditional Cowichan jumpers as worn by the Dude in The Big Lebowski, I designed a cardigan for him that even had credits and players on the sleeves. He loves it, and his work mates are extremely jealous. I have the notes so will probably write the pattern up one day when I get round to it, but for now, he has a unique jumper that suits him perfectly.
