Glasses case

I made this for my glasses.

    About

    Really liked the idea of knitting a case for my glasses with a picture of glasses on the front when LoveKnitting came up with the same idea. Had to knit a second case for my reading glasses but decided to turn the pattern round ; it seems neater.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 5.00mm (US 8) 15cm
    • Single Point 5.00mm (US 8) 30cm

    • Buttons
    • Tapestry Needle
    Other : I made the I-cord rather than a crochet chain to provide the fastening; it was a bit thick but I found a big green button which fitted nicely.

    Measurements

    One size only: Fits most adult sized glasses

    Notes: I made the 'fold-over' a bit bigger at the top but I'm afraid my making up of the case was not good, as can be seen on the photograph. My mattress stitching was right off! It does the job though.
