    About

I fell in love with this variegated silk -- cobalt, teal, sky blue and more. It is extremely soft but surprisingly strong, as I discovered when I had to frog 2 1/2 inches because i accidentally did two increase rows next to each other. I can't wait to finish it.

4-16-17. I ended up ordering a third skein, based on the experiences of other knitters on ravelry.com, and used about 2.3 skeins, about 374 yards. After I blocked it with sprayed water, I added some beads just for fun. It drapes beautifully, and the silk shimmers.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 4.50mm (US 7) 100cm
Other : Additional 47 inch interchangeable cord and connector.

    Measurements

Notes: 12" deep from neck to picot edging
33" diameter (it makes a full circle)
I added a third of a skein extra, kept on repeating the last 8 rows until it looked right on me. I used my new interchangeable needle cords connected, so that I could check the size.
