    About

My friend who is a retired school librarian watched me make Martin the House Elf and thought he looked like The Wimpy Kid before I added the hair. She asked me to make a Wimpy Kid for her 9-year-old grandson so she could give it to him with the newest book. Thus- Greg Heffley was born.

    Pattern

Thank you. The pattern is on Ravelry. It’s called Martin the House Elf. I left off the hair and knit the clothes in the likeness of Greg Heffley. Otherwise I pretty much followed the pattern - one adjustment I made was to put a small piece of a drinking straw in the neck area to help the head stay up. Happy Knitting!
