    About

    A second shawl pattern from Blacker yarns and another free one! The first of these pattern was my project New Era Hap and that turned out very well. The patterns are well written and very clear. The shawls are traditional with a bit of a twist that makes them both interesting to knit and beautiful to look at and wear.

    Update: LOVED knitting this shawl...not so sure about the shape, but I've yet to block it and I know from past experience what a difference that can make...photos to follow.

    • Tapestry Needle
    Other : Stitch markers are specified in the pattern but I don't like them and don't use them unless absolutely necessary. I didn't use them for this project as the chart was clear enough.

        Hi Penny, It is a little strange to wear. I find it works best as shown in my photograph - triangle to the front and long edges wrapped around the neck and loosely tied under the triangle at the front. My sister's middle daughter liked it so much (and it looked so trendy on her) that she now has it and wears it lots. It's a lovely pattern to knit and the Sublime yarn is just that - sublime!
