    About

    My first ever cast on.

Convinced myself a child's jumper is a beginner project and dived in. To further make it an 'interesting' knit, I chose to use a tweedy yarn.

It languished in a bag for several months while I knitted other projects and took a knitting break until early 2017 when it was finally finished.

It's full of wonky stitches, with knits and purls facing the wrong directions but I'm happy I resisted the urge to frog it as it's a reminder of how I was at the beginning.

And my son loves his new knitwear.
