    About

    Karen asked for a headband with a flower, and so I began! This is an easy pattern that looks complicated. I finished it in three days, easily. It's thick, warm, and cosy. I list it as a beginners project, although there are cables. It offers a terrific way to get comfortable with cables and learning how they lean left or right, depending on whether the cable needle is held in front or back.

    The flower pattern is for the head band is from Angela Juergens Designs, called "Knitted Flower" and it's available on Ravelry.

    Measurements

    Notes: The pattern calls for casting on 36 stitches and then increasing after a out 4 inches completed. I cast on 36 and did not do any increases. The band is plenty wide enough with out the increases.
